Bio

An expert on finance and monetary policy, Ryan brings his research and teaching pedigree to his role as chair of Numerica's Audit Committee. 

Ryan is an associate professor of economics at Gonzaga University, where he has taught since 2009. His areas of focus include international finance, monetary policy, and regional business cycles. He serves on a number of Gonzaga committees, including retirement benefits, faculty compensation, and assurance of learning.

A native of Washington, Ryan graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelor's in economics and minors in business administration and mathematics. He briefly worked at Russell Mellon Analytic Services, now Russell Investments, before completing master's and doctorate degrees at the University of Oregon.
