A focused commitment to our community

Numerica CARES for Kids is a movement focused on breaking cycles of generational poverty and trauma. We work alongside local nonprofits to empower youth and families to succeed. 

Together, we’re tackling key issues: 

  • Food insecurity
  • Housing instability
  • Health challenges
  • Academic struggles
  • Violence in the home 

So we volunteer, lending time and expertise. And we invest in our partnerships, including focused grants through the Numerica Charitable Fund. 

Efforts we’re actively supporting include: 

  • Affordable, quality childcare and early education
  • School-based, trauma-informed programs
  • Educational support for students and parents
  • Mentorship, enrichment, and basic needs assistance
  • Crisis intervention efforts

The vision for Numerica CARES for Kids is a community where no child lives in poverty. By working together for real, lasting change, we envision a future where all children and their families are financially stable and thriving.

Capitalizing on CARES 

Numerica CARES for Kids features capital letters for a reason. CARES — Connect, Ask, Resolve, Elevate, Strengthen — is the set of guiding principles every Numerica team member lives by. We train with CARES. We lead with CARES. We celebrate those who exemplify CARES.

When we decided to channel our philanthropic energy into helping local kids, the values were already vetted. It’s ingrained in our culture. This is how Numerica CARES.
