About the Numerica Charitable Fund

How the fund works

  1. Numerica combines the generosity of members and employees with our corporate giving commitments.
  2. These contributions build the annual Charitable Fund.
  3. Charitable Fund grants are awarded to local nonprofits serving vulnerable youth and families.

Grant process and amounts

Aligned with our Numerica CARES for Kids focus, the Numerica Charitable Fund prioritizes nonprofit applicants that positively impact vulnerable youth and families in terms of:

  • Educational success
  • Financial stability
  • Income and earning potential
  • Crisis intervention and stabilization

Charitable Fund grants are announced in June and consist of a 1-year grant cycle of June 1 through May 30 of the following year. Grant amounts are typically between $10,000 and $25,000. Organizations are encouraged to submit only one application for funding consideration.

Info and eligibility

Charitable Fund grants support vulnerable youth and families located in Numerica’s service area. This includes Spokane, North Idaho, Tri-Cities, and Wenatchee Valley. Eligible* public, 501(c)(3) nonprofits are encouraged to apply for funds.

Numerica Charitable Fund grant requests are evaluated as part of a 2-step process:

  1. Funding proposal
  2. Application (by invitation)

The regional Charitable Fund grant committees will review all submitted proposals to assess which organizations will be invited to move to the full application phase. Please note that not all funding proposals will result in an invitation to submit a full grant application.

Partners in CARES

These lead grant partners each received $100,000 pledges over four years to build brighter futures for local youth.
