Need to make a trip to Numerica but don’t really want to leave your house? Make a virtual visit by video!
Enjoy face-to-face interactions – from wherever you are – to handle many of your account needs.
How does it all work? We are here for your questions about Video Banking!
What is Video Banking?
Video Banking is a way to do much of what you would accomplish inside a Numerica branch — but through a remote video connection.
Is Video Banking secure?
The security of your information is always a top priority, and that doesn’t change with our approach to Video Banking. Our platform is designed with the privacy of your transactions and account information in mind.
What transactions can I do through Video Banking?
From youth members to business accounts and most everything in between, the services available through Video Banking include:
- Opening a new account
- Receiving assistance with Online Banking, including co-browsing (with your permission, of course)
- Applying for a loan
- Managing your account
- Conducting any number of other transactions!
But can I withdraw cash or notarize a document?
While we can’t pass you Benjamins through a screen, we can transfer funds, help you set up bill pay, or even chat about your most recent Netflix discovery (this is a human interaction, after all). But if it’s cash you want, allow us to point you to the nearest ATM. Between Numerica and our CO-OP network, one of the 30,000 ATMs you have access to is likely nearby.
As for notary or medallion stamp services, those must be done in person at a branch. Pro tip: Make an appointment in advance. We’ll be ready for you.
Does Video Banking work on any device and browser?
Video Banking works on any personal device with a camera that has online capability. The platform works on virtually every online browser — but not Internet Explorer (Microsoft fans: use Microsoft Edge, which is the company’s replacement for Internet Explorer).
Is Video Banking available on demand?
Absolutely! From 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, Video Banking is a click away. Select the chat button on the bottom-right of the screen to get started.
How can I make a Video Banking appointment?
It’s simple to set up a Video Banking session at a time convenient to you. You can schedule an appointment online or by calling 800.433.1837.
When it’s time for my appointment, how do I attend?
An hour before your appointment, you will receive an email and text with a link that takes you to the virtual portal on our website. Once there, click the button that says “Chat Now,” select “Video,” and you’re in!
What do I need to “bring” to my Video Banking appointment?
To protect your security, have your government-issued ID ready. If you scheduled a specific type of appointment, you may also receive instructions of other items to bring in your confirmation email.
What if I still have questions or concerns?
Need more guidance before booking a Video Banking appointment? No problem! We would love to address your questions personally. Stop by a branch or call us at 800.433.1837.
